  Digital Photography
    by Jed Oelrich

Welcome to the showcase of evidence of my photographic foray. Dominated by images of natural subject and setting,
the collection is comprised nearly entirely of photos taken in Fayette County, Northeastern Iowa. Featured are the rural,
agricultural landscapes the Hawkeye State is known for, as well as autumn scenery and arctic winter views seldom seen
in lower latitudes. Also on display are many indigenous butterflies and different dragonfly species, along with many other
insects. Included are samples of portraits I was enlisted to do for friends, and some of my favorite digital art. All images
are copyrighted. Most are available for licensing and may be provided freely depending on intended usage.

Pastoral Northeast Iowa

Rural Iowa

The Iowan countryside consists mostly of farmland, with some grassy prairies
remaining. Landscapes vary from expansive plains to rolling hills and river
valleys. Iowa is the biggest producer of corn in the US, and a leading producer
of soybeans, hay, and livestock.

Autumnal

My village has a large number of trees in and around it, so I didn't
have to travel far to find vibrant, variegated, fall foliage to photograph.

Hibernal

Long, sometimes harsh winters with frequent subzero temperatures
are accommodative to veritable vistas of winter wonderland.
